RE: Gamer Music
Perhaps the best music of the series. Rendered a terrific atmosphere when you played this survival-horror classic. Walking through the corridors on the first floor and fighting zombies along the way. . . the 'strings' and the piano were wonderful in eliciting anxiety and tension.

RE: Gamer Music
The video game series 'Guilty Gear' offers great rock music that are quite ear-tugging to listen to. You can easily listen to the soundtrack and not even think that this music really was done for a video game. If I'm not mistaken in the instruments here, wonderful jazzy sounds from the sax and the clarinet here. My favourite GG track to listen to.

RE: Gamer Music
Final Fantasy VI features some the best video game music of all time. Above is the acclaimed "Aria di Mezzo Carattere" piece from Celes' opera scene. A testament to Uematsu's talent, this piece doesn't sound at all limited and encumbered by the sound technology limits at the time. Instead, it soars because of it, becoming something enchanting, remarkable, and timeless. . . with class. It'd be better to watch the entire opera scene, but virtually all videos on YouTube have their sound out-of-sync, which severely detracts from the scene's magic. The music from the Advance-port of the game unfortunately does not compare to the original SNES/Super Famicom version.

The Super Famicom really does a great job rendering Rhythm Emotion in bit sound.

RE: Gamer Music
Before Utada Hikari's 'Passion' and 'Hikari' of Kingdom Hearts, before Yuna took those Dresspheres and a microphone and sang like a pop diva, there was 'Eyes On Me' from Final Fantasy VIII sung by Faye Wong. It is one of the first non-synthesized pop songs to ever be in a video game way back in 1999, if not the first, and one of the first songs from a video game to win a major award.
