... I'm sort of drawing a comic at the moment, and require reference photos of apple orchards and a whole lotta other crap around Ontario. I'm starting with Apple orchards.
Anyone been to one, or know any beautiful orchards, can point me in the direction of one?
Photos of parking lots, the spookier the better.
Anyone got one in mind?
I'll have more requests later.. but google isn't helping. so HELP ME!
they all look the same...draw an apple tree...then draw one beside it, then draw another beside that, and then draw yet another one beside that one...and do that a good 20-40 times...and make a space(aisle) for people to walk...and draw another row of the same length....rinse and repeat.
there now you have successfully completed an apple orchard
nothing beautiful exists? no art noveaux inspired works? BOOO
May have to thumb through books for the image.
... I'll make one up then.
Is anyone here proficient in French? I am looking for the Lapidaire Museum in Avignon, they've got an exhibit on Brunhilda's sarcophagus, yes that one, the one in Wagner's play.
Anyway, I can't find any images. My french is dismal, so this is not helping:
keywords "Musée Lapidaire in Avignon" or Lapidaire Museum
"Brunhilda" "sarcophagus"
*sighs*
just remember, apple orchards are a business, it's about efficiency. the faster people can move to pick their apples, the more money gets moved. that's why apple orchards are in nice neat long rows rather than being planted for an aesthetic design.
hmm, are private apple orchards planted the same ways as business orchards?
I imagine so. Apples are still being picked. Unless the owner himself/herself made the specific order to, I doubt the official who 'lays' out the orchard would arrange something so impractical.
