The technology is pretty awesome in Ghost in the Shell, but if we could have anything from the series in real life, what should we get?

I'd like a tachikoma to take care of me when I'm old, tuck me into bed and tell me stories with their cutesy voices!
Or I'd like to be a cyborg, I think it'll be pretty cool.
From the GitS series alone?

Excluding the ethics that cyberization would raise. . . their prostheses technology would be a great benefit to the physically disabled and arguably to the mentally disabled.

Therm-optic camouflage, though it'd primarily be used for military applications.

I would like to think that the GitS stories can fit in the same universe of William Gibson's Neuromancer story (part of his 'Sprawl' trilogy). Make for one engaging cyberpunk world.
